As far the the brake on the dyno, that is pretty unplausable. The owner of the shop did the dyno and my car was dyno'd the exact same way that 7 second cars have been dyno'd, the exact same way that 100's of cars have been dyno'd. If this special motor I have needs to be babied in that sort of way, then it is weak. On a serious note, if you feel that that is such a legitimate issue as to why a motor would grenade, then you need to list that on your warranty page and protect your customer. After 'big boost', list 'dyno pulls with no brakes applied'. As for synthetic oil, again, that is soooo not required to do a damn dyno pull. The 10w/30 that you feel is too thin is the same oil used in many, many Supra dyno's with 700+ rwhp and some redlines pulls as high as 8,500 rpms. Again, if this a special need of your motor you need to list it on your warranty page to protect your customer. What you have said is this: If a customer does not use the oil that I would like them to, and if a customer uses a dyno in this really weird strange way, then I am not going to consider any bearing failure from that our fault. You have got to see how utterly useless that makes this so called warranty. Useless. B.
